Our Prudhoe manufacturing site houses two paper machines, seven converting lines and a recycling plant. Converting lines turn semi-finished goods manufactured by the paper machines into the finished product for onward dispatch to a variety of customers. The site runs 24/7, manufacturing products for the consumer goods market with Cushelle and Plenty being two of our leading brands.

About the role
Reporting to a Team Leader, you will work as part of an operating team ensuring that operational performance is maintained to an exceptional standard, with housekeeping and quality a key deliverable.
Day to day you will pick and store (raw) material to ensure our production teams always have access to the correct materials to maintain high levels of production.

What You Will Do
Load and unload both raw material and finished goods completing visual checks for damage, quantity and accuracy of load
Block damaged raw material or material that fails to comply with standards
Prepare and supply both raw material and finished goods for production lines
Remove production waste
Cycle count Raw Material/Finished Goods stock based on demanded intervals and quantities
Own and maintain forklift truck and other logistics handling equipment
Participate in continuous improvement activity
Maintain communication with previous and next shift as well as other key customers within the operation
Maintain high standards of house keeping
Follow Essity safety standards and operating procedures
Who are you?
You will be an experienced forklift truck driver with a current counterbalance licence and able to demonstrate the following competencies;
